Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for your visit and we were all happy.
I appreciate what you’ve said about me,
but remember Annajdi and the others have their very important roles,
and we have excellent other cooks.
We’ve missed Tom, and your daughter (my daughter –Manar- has the same age).
I’d like to say that during the previous weeks we have spent good time together,
we find you a helpful, flexible, and very kind teacher.
May Allah gives you the best,
and protects your daughter
Amen
Faisal

Hi Guys,
Thank you so much for the lovely lunch you prepared for Ray and me today. It was delicious and you made us so welcome. It was a real Arabic experience in England. We enjoyed spending time talking to you in a realxed environment as well. I have to say Faisal, you are an excellent cook and your wife should be very proud of you! I am sure you are just as good at cooking in the desert over a fire. This was something I enjoyed doing during my time in the UAE desert.
Enjoy the long weekend and I will see you all on Tuesday morning. I look forward to seeing your final presentations.
Best wishes
Stephanie

Isle of Wight
Hi
Last Saturday we went to The Isle of Wight. The trip was genrally fantastic. We gathered on that day at Sussex House . We drove to a port where we took a fairy to move us to the other side of the sea. the fairy trip was short but intersting especially when the the waves leap before your eyes.Later, when we got to the island, we drove up a hill to see the city view and the sea front of the island . It was a spectacular moment. I felt that I was the king of the world. Next, we drove down to Shankine village cetntre Where we had our lunch in a lovely retaurnt. Then, we went to the other side of the island to see The Needles.Though the trip was abit boring and long but to see The Needles, we knew the it worthed it. After that we decided to go back home. We caught the 7 o'clock fairy and arrived home by 10:30 pm. In short, it was a very nice and enjoyable trip that will be reapeated if l'm here again in the future.

Lovely weekend to London ( I don`t think so )
well, having planning our trip to London by Mr. Asidin ( our beloved leader). I woke up in the early morning , had my usual breakfast , then head straight to Falmer train station where my friends were waiting for me there. The trip took around 55 minutes. The train stopped at Victoria station. The weather was very nice when we arrived there. It was cloddy and little bet windy. The first site was Big Ben. We spent some time taking pictures:
Then, all of the sudden, the rain starts to fall ( the great expectations have just gone with the wind ) :(
We carried on walking to Buckingham Palace where we spend some time there and took some pictures again.

( in desperate measures) we tried to look for a shelter to take cover from the rain , we head to the Hyde park where we snaked under a big tree hoping that the rain may stop, but we were letdown.
In the afternoon, we reached Edgware road by the underground which I enjoyed very much and had our lunch.
Finally, I decided to head back to Brighton. I couldn't bear the rain and the heavy wind.
Regards,
Ali

The trip to London
Hi Everybody,
Last weekend I went to London with my colleagues. But, unfortunatelythe weather was rainy and it was difficult to move. There we visited many places such as London Eye, The Times river, Beckgham Palace, Big Ben Clock, Royal garden, Hyde Park, Edgware Road and Picaddlly.London's roads and streets were crowded with people, tourists, cars and buses. I think it is a busy city. The most that I liked there was the subway system.I have been to London many times but I found a lot of changes in it. In fact, It was an enjoyable and useful trip.

I used the underground to go to the Hyde park and some very crowded streets. Unfortunately it was rainnig at that time and I had no umberlla so I could not enjoy walking around but I am planning to have a another visit in the comming weekesnds.

The First Weekend
Hi Steph
Talking a bout last week, it was very nice and astonishing experience. We went to London by train reaching Victoria station. From there, we took the train to Parliament building and the Bigben. Frankly, I couldn't move until I took photos from various angles for these marvellous pieces of English archeticture. In addition , we saw the Thames river and London eye but unfortunately we couldn't get in because it was very crowdy. Next, we moved to Buckingham Palace and we were very lucky to see the parade playing their music.Everybody was happy because we saw many people from many parts of the world to share the moment with us.

Dear, Stephanie
I would like to tell you few sentences about my impression of being here in UK for the first time. We have started out training course in Sussex University last week and I think that we are lucky to attend such course in a well known university. Our teachers are experts and professionals so it is good chance for us to get a benefit. Our accommodation and the facilities are good and comfertable. When I go back to my own country I am going to recommend Sussex University to my friends and I may send my son later on to have an intensive course in English Language institute. It’s really wonderful country and friendly people. Finally, I hope that all coming days will be outstanding.
Your sincerely

The Start
I'm in Brighton at the moment attending an advance course in Sussex University.I started on the 4th of August When I met my teacher Steph. in the theatre .I was surprised to see that we were not alone in there were a Spanish and a Japanese groups, too. Later,I was taken along my thirteen friends in a tour in the university and it was amazing and specious with alot of buildings , sport facilities and large green areas. What made a difference to me was the change in the weather. In Saudi Arabia it was about 45 degrees centigrade and here it was 19 .What a big difference.
In the next day we attended a class which was comprehensible about the good teacher and the good manager. During this class we weren't alone but the Spanish teacher group joined us . It was a very good chance to exchange opinions and to discuss educational systems in both countries . in addition we talked about some cultural and social aspects in our countries. Though it was abit crowdy interesting and I hope it will be repeated again.

My visit to Brighton is very much of pleasure. It's organized perfectly with comfortable accommodation and plenty of social activities. The meeting with the Madrid teachers was very useful and interactive. The international food party was great and very interesting. Some of the food was very delicious.
My first week at Sussex
Hello everybody,
I arrived to Brighton on Sunday morning 3 Aug 2008. I stayed at the campus of Sussex University. I started my first day on Monday with the orientation. After that we started our classes. I enjoyed my classes and discusions and I found them useful. I was spending the whole day at the university, then I went back to the campus. I made many tours of sight-seeing of Brighton.I found Brighton a beutiful city. The one that I most like in Brighton is the weather. It was cold and rainy even we are on the summer. our teacher was a female and her name is Stephana. She is very nice with us.
Yours sincerely,
Ahmad Ageel

Wonderfull Sussex
After a terrible three- day trip I finally arrived to the cam pass of University of Sussex near the beautiful city of Brighton .My journey started from jeddah to Riyadh on 1st of august and slept the night over in a hotel. The next morning I had to rush to the airport early morning to get my ticket from the travel agency and met an official from the TVTC and my colleagues . later on the after noon, we started our trip to London via Manama Bahrain. We arrived to London in the early morning on august 3rd,and then we started a bus trip to the university cam puss .
The following morning we had to drag ourselves from beds to begin our course. the course director and her staff were very kind and friendly in which they made us forget about the travelling suffer. An attractive mid forties lady,Stephanie Cornell, was assigned to teach us except Fridays, when another well experienced old teacher ,Ray De-Witt,is teaching us.I like the atmosphere of being a student again .

First Impression
I was really excited when I’ve been told that my name was chosen to attend a course in England. I’ve been in New Zealand and Australia but not the Great England. The first impression started in the airport when I met my colleagues. They are really good and friendly. When we reach the airport of London, taxis were the first things which take my notice which differ from other countries.
One of things I heard about England people that they are not that much friendly however I found them welcoming. The first day in the Uni was great and the teachers were helpful and warm. Lot of activities were sited but the one who was responsible about them wasn’t that friendly as expected but still the girl is. In class, I thought that the teacher will be strict with a lot of work and homework but we face an understandable and nice one. Hope her keeping as it goes but without thinking that we are lazy “ CASLAN” students.
Salam for you all

4th day in Sussex U.
This is the second program I am attending in Brighton. The first one was in Brighton City college. Anyway, I think that being in the University of Sussex is much more exciting and interesting than a college, as there are many facilities that we can make use of.
As for the fourth day of the course here in Sussex, I think that it has been a good start for the program, learning the key features and getting to know the University main aspects. I believe that more and more progress will be achieved during the coming few weeks, as all the group members are trying hard to make the most use of it.
